Why are some of my words in an outline font? Mostly headers, but sometimes random words are outlined.....
Where did you find such words, in some apps or in the phone home screen?
i'm no longer able to delete past reminders since the latest update. you can tap them and they have the option to save or delete, but deleting does nothing. any help? thanks!
Reminders of events from calendar? Can you choose snooze or dismiss?
google now reminders
You can just dismiss it as normal nitrification. If you don't need such info, you can turn off the corresponding card.
When I am on call, my cell don't show any notification of another person calling me. How do I know and answer a call waiting??
This depends on your carrier.
In phone app, tap the menu key (3 vertical dots), tap settings - call settings - additional settings, enable call waiting.
I have downloaded a Malayalam eBook in my Moto X first generation. I would like to transfer it to my MacBookPro. Can't locate the file. Can any one help me? Thanks in advance.
how do you print to a network printer?
You need add the printer in settings - printing - as services. Then in any apps that offer printing features, you can print to this printer.
Whenever someone sends me a group message or a picture through messaging I get a screen that says Message cannot download. How do I correct that or can that e corrected?
You need check APN settings for MMS. You can ask your carrier send the mms settings, and you then apply it.

My XT1060 is apparently stuck on mute mic, as people cannot hear me when I call. I have hit the mute/unmute button numerous times. Is this indicative that the phone is defective? I have only had it a couple of months.
does this happen to receiving calls?
It only happened on outgoing calls. I don't get many incoming calls, so I don't know. I solved the issue by shutting the phone off and rebooting it, but it shouldn't have happened.
It could be caused by some third-party apps. Some buggy apps may mess up the mic after exiting.
